This winter we will be having a kid’s camp from December 23-December 25 at Dashmesh Culture Centre Gurdwara.

We will be talking about various shaheedis/martyrdoms in an interactive and informative manner. Since this camp is aimed for kids ages 7-14, we will be speaking in English for most of the seminars in order to better connect with this age group. One of the new things that we will be introducing is having interactive workshops that focus on sparking creativity from the kids and helping them apply what they have learned using a youth-teaching-youth teaching style; another new activity that we are considering doing this year is going away for recreation using a busing system. Since camp includes meals and field-trips, we will be asking parents to pay a $20 registration fee per child. If a family has 3+ kids, they only pay $40 for all of their children (cousins and other relatives do not count).
